May Long Weekend away – Hervey Bay

Ok so the first stages of our May long weekend away for 2026 are sorted.
Arrive on Friday the 1st of May, this is your own free time to stock up with the essentials (alcohol)…
We are staying at;

The group booking code is “HSV Club” – Rates are from $705 for a hotel style room; $774 for an Apartment style room; Check-in Friday to check-out Monday.

Saturday morning – we are heading on a day’s outing on our own private 2 story boat departing at 9am. Everything is looked after for you, so all you do is board the boat and enjoy the experience…

  • Commentary on marine life, K’gari, some local Aboriginal (Butchulla) history
  • 2 hours of free time on the beach
  • ALL equipment provided: kayaks, snorkeling gear, beach activities (beach cricket, frisbees, balls, sandcastle building equipment), rides on inflatable tube
  • Shade umbrellas provided
  • Dive skins available (if desired)
  • Morning tea – fresh fruit platter and selection of cakes
  • Aussie BBQ lunch – Steak, sausages, Hervey Bay King prawns, three fresh salads and fresh bread (Special dietary requirements catered for on request and with reasonable notice).
  • Extra wide decks provide many excellent viewing and comfortable seating options
  • Complimentary filtered water, loose leaf tea, herbal tea, coffee and milo available all cruise
  • Fully licensed and well stocked bar
  • Snacks, souvenirs and merchandise available for purchase

Cost per person is $170 pp – Please Note – Maximum of 40 people on Vessel. 

  • Saturday night – We will be a nice relaxing night enjoying pizzas and a few drinks by the pool.
  • Sunday morning – We will be attending the May in the Wide Bay Show n Shine. We would be at the grounds at 7am and should be departing by 2pm (more info to come)
  • Sunday night – dinner along with Monday morning farewell breakfast is still in the works, but this is a start.
