2 Days of Thunder + Happy Laps Sessions Sat & Sun – Queensland Raceway.

Please note this is a two day event and members still need to purchase tickets to attend from the event organisers.

We will meet up at the vehicle inspection off-ramp opposite the BP at Amberley as we have done in the past.

We will then depart as a group and drive up to QR at 6:00am for a 6:15 departure.

The Club will be having a static display both days, members will also be able to take part in a “happy laps” session at lunch time on both days.

This year 2 Days of Thunder features the lineup of 9 Categories including TA2 Muscle Cars, Formula RX8, Legend Cars Australia, Australian Excel Championship, QLD Production Cars,
QLD Production Sports, SuperTT & Combined Tin Tops, Replica Tourers & QTCC!

General Note: Please be mindful of Speed Enforcment Radars in the area as they have been set-up at multiple locations in previous years.

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTE – ATTENDING 2 DAYS OF THUNDER & PARTICIPATING IN HAPPY LAPS ?

We have been requested to share the following information and link with your Happy Laps participants for the 2 Days of Thunder session. This will help streamline the driver sign-in process on the day.
In addition to purchasing spectator tickets, Happy Lap participants will need to create an account on the Queensland Raceway website (link below). To do this, they can visit the homepage and click the small person icon in the top-right corner to register.
Next steps:
  • Go to the Calendar section (link below).
  • Find 2 Days of Thunder and click Enter Now.
  • From the dropdown menu, select the Happy Laps Session.
  • Enter the required details (your saved account info).
This registration is free of charge and is only required for drivers. Passengers do not need to register.
